"World Cup Prize Draw 2026” Offer in Germany

The company under the name “COSMOTE PAYMENTS – ELECTRONIC MONEY SERVICES SINGLE MEMBER S.A.” (hereinafter “COSMOTE Payments” or the “Organiser”), having its headquarters in 99 Kifissias Avenue, 151 24 Maroussi, Attica, Greece, is organising, in cooperation with “Deutsche Telekom AG” headquartered in Friedrich-Ebert-Allee 140, D-53113 Bonn, Germany, the “World Cup Prize Draw 2026” promotion (hereinafter “Promo”), addressing COSMOTE Payments’ card holders in Germany for purchases in physical shops and online.

The purpose of these terms (hereinafter “Terms”) is to define the terms of participation in the Promo.

1. All permanent residents of Germany, qualified for legal acts, who are at least 18 years old, hold a personal Payment Account at COSMOTE Payments, are holders of the virtual payzy Visa debit card (hereinafter “Card”) that is connected to the aforementioned Payment Account (hereinafter the “Participant(s)”) and consent to the participation Terms by actively clicking on the button “Participate” within the payzy app (in the sub-menu “Earn with payzy”) are eligible to participate in the Promo. Employees of COSMOTE Payments and Deutsche Telekom Fintech team are not eligible to participate in the Promo even if they fulfil the afore-mentioned eligibility criteria. 

2. The Promo starts on 11/06/2026, at 00:00:01 (CEST) and lasts until 19/07/2026, at 23:59:59 (CEST) (hereinafter the “Duration”). Within the Duration, Participants’ registration to the Promo should have been completed as well as their eligible transactions should have been carried out, as described in these Terms.

3. To participate in the Promo, Participants should complete at least one transaction using the Card within the Duration. Each eligible transaction counts as one entry in the Promo, so that the more eligible transactions a Participant completes within the Duration, the higher is the number of their entries in the Promo and the higher is the likelihood of being selected as winners (hereinafter “Winner(s)”). The Promo is valid exclusively for purchases in shops or online made using the Card within the Duration, excluding any money transfer transactions, such as top-ups to other accounts or wallets, credit transfers between accounts (including Chat & Pay and Split-It), and transfers between the user’s own bank accounts. 

4. The Promo applies to transactions that are carried out within the Duration, directly and wholly using the Card (tokenized on Participant’s mobile phone) at the physical or virtual POS and not in any other way, subject to the settlement conditions set out in paragraph 7. Any transaction executed after the Duration for any reason will be considered non-existent for the purpose of this Promo. 

5. Participants who perform at least one purchase in shops or online using the Card within the Duration and consent to the Terms by actively clicking on the button “Participate” within the payzy app, will be eligible for the “World Cup Prize Draw 2026”. On July 24, 2026, COSMOTE Payments will draw fifty (50) Winners. Each Winner will receive a prize in the form of a payzy Coupon, as outlined below (para 7), independently of the total value of their eligible transactions. Each Participant is eligible to win only one (1) prize during the Promo. The draw will be held by COSMOTE Payments using electronic means, which ensure the randomness of the selection and the integrity of the process. If for any reason, it is impossible to conduct the selection on the afore-mentioned date, the Organizer reserves the right to modify the day of the selection by informing the Participants in any way the former deems appropriate.

6. All eligible Participants who have completed at least one (1) transaction within the Duration have the right to participate in the Promo. Each eligible transaction completed by the Participant within the Duration and settled under the conditions of para 7 will be considered as one (1) separate entry in the Promo. Participants who complete more eligible transactions within the Duration will have a higher chance of winning compared to Participants completing fewer eligible transactions.

7. The prizes of the Promo are as follows and will be allocated to randomly selected Winners through the electronic draw process mentioned under para. 5:

• 1 x €1,000 payzy Coupon: one (1) Winner will receive a payzy Coupon worth one thousand euros (€1,000).

• 1 x €500 payzy Coupon: one (1) Winner will receive a payzy Coupon worth five hundred euros (€500).

• 1 x €250 payzy Coupon: one (1) Winner will receive a payzy Coupon worth two hundred and fifty euros (€250).

• 1 x €100 payzy Coupon: one (1) Winner will receive a payzy Coupon worth one hundred euros (€100).

• 46 x €50 payzy Coupons: forty-six (46) Winners will each receive a payzy Coupon worth fifty euros (€50).

The Winners must redeem the Coupons until 02/09/2026, at 23:59:59 (CEST). Once the above date has elapsed, the Coupons are deactivated and cannot be redeemed or replaced. The Winners will be notified of their prize by email, which will also contain the respective payzy Coupon code. The Coupon can be redeemed in the payzy app by entering the coupon code in the designated coupon redemption section. Each Coupon can be redeemed only once and must be redeemed within the validity period specified above.

For the purposes of determining the eligible transactions for participation in the draw, the Organiser will take into account Card transactions executed within the Duration, provided that they have been settled by July 23, 2026. 

It is clarified that in any case, any tax imposed by the Greek State on prizes remains the responsibility of the Winner and is determined according to the provisions set forth in the applicable legislation.

8. Winners will receive notification via SMS, email and/or push notification with the announcement of the Promo results until July 31, 2026. In case one or more Winners do not comply with the Terms as stated herein COSMOTE Payments reserves the right to exclude them from the Promo and to select replacement Winner(s) accordingly. By participating in the Promo, Participants provide their consent to COSMOTE Payments to use their contact details, specifically: phone number and/or email to communicate with them if they are selected as Winners.

9. Each Coupon is strictly for the personal use of the Winner and COSMOTE Payments is not liable for replacing or obliged to replace or cancel it in the event of its theft or loss or use by a third party (see terms here).

10. Additionally, each Participant, in the context of the “Coins” Loyalty Program, will collect as many Coins as the amount of the transactions that have been performed using the Card. Coins can be redeemed in accordance with the terms of the Loyalty Program described in the Terms and Conditions of Use of the “payzy” Application (see terms here)

11. COSMOTE Payments shall bear no liability towards the Participants and/or any third party for any damages (direct or indirect, special, etc.), costs and expenses that may arise from any interruption, malfunction, delay or any other cause related to the implementation of the Promo.

12. COSMOTE Payments is liable solely for the provision of the prize (in the form of the payzy Coupon) and bears no further liability.

13. The data controller is the Organiser, namely “COSMOTE PAYMENTS – ELECTRONIC MONEY SERVICES SINGLE MEMBER S.A.”, with its headquarters in 99 Kifissias Avenue, 151 24 Maroussi, Attica, Greece.  
The following personal data of the Participants shall be collected and processed in order to participate in the Promo:

- The details of the Card used in the payment transaction. 
- The type as well as the date and time of execution of each payment transaction. 
- The total amount paid using the Card. 
- COSMOTE Payments’ Payment Account number.

- Coupon-related data (e.g. coupon code, coupon value and redemption data)

- Name and contact details (e.g. phone number and email address). 

- Draw results. 

- Information related to employment status, where necessary to verify eligibility (e.g. exclusion of employees).

COSMOTE Payments shall hold the right to communicate the result of this Promo and the prize draw in owned marketing channels for the purpose of ensuring the Promo transparency, without explicitly exposing customer data. More specifically, by accepting their participation to the Promo, Participants agree that, in case they win, their name will be published by the Organizer in a way that their exact identification will not be possible.

Also, Participants agree that in case of winning, the Organizer will contact them by email, SMS and/or push notification to inform them of their win.

14. The data is collected for the purpose of carrying out the Promo in accordance with these Terms and to serve the contract concluded between the Participant and COSMOTE Payments, based on which the Participant maintains a Payment Account with COSMOTE Payments, lawfully holds a Card or Cards connected to the above Payment Account and uses the Card or Cards as a means of payment, in accordance with the terms of the General Information regarding Personal Data Protection, that you can find here. Under these terms, the personal data collected are retained for a period of five (5) years from the date of execution of the payment transaction. Upon expiry of this deadline, the data shall be deleted, unless another provision of law or regulatory act requires them to be stored for a longer period, which cannot exceed ten (10) years (e.g. for tax purposes).

15. Participants have the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data and subject to the provisions of the applicable legislation:

• Right of access: the right to receive information about the personal data subject to processing (e.g. the purposes of processing, the types of data, the recipients to whom they are communicated, the period for which they are retained) and to be provided copies thereof.

• Right to rectification: the right to request the correction of their data (e.g. correction of contact details).

• Right to erasure: the right to request the deletion of their personal data if they are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were processed or if they withdraw their consent.

• Right to restriction of processing: the right to request the restriction of processing for a specific purpose.

• Right to object to processing of their personal data in cases in which they do not want their personal data to be processed.

•  Right to data portability: the right to request the transfer of data to another data controller.
•  Right to withdraw their consent: The right to withdraw consent with respect to any subsequent processing of personal data following its provision, insofar as such consent constitutes the lawful basis for the processing. In the event that a Participant wishes to withdraw their consent to participate in the contest, they may submit a relevant request by sending an email to customerprivacy@cosmotepayments.gr or by using the contact methods described in paragraph 16 below.

16. The Organiser has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) based on the provisions of the applicable legislation. To contact the Data Protection Officer, Participants may send an email to customerprivacy@cosmotepayments.gr.

In order to exercise their rights, Participants may send: 
a. an email to customerprivacy@cosmotepayments.gr or 
b. a fax to +30 2102511888 or 
c. a letter to COSMOTE Payments Customer Service, No 99 Kifissias Ave., GR-151 24, Maroussi, regarding ‘Exercising of Personal Data Rights’, stating their full name and their mobile telephone or landline connection number.

17. Participants reserve the right to lodge a complaint, via a special web portal, with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Nos 1-3 Kifissias Avenue, GR-115 23 Athens | tel. no +30 210 6475600). Please find additional instructions on the following link: Complaint to the Hellenic DPA | Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

The Organiser shall respond to the requests free of charge without delay, within one (1) month from the receipt of the request. In exceptional cases, this deadline may be extended by two (2) months, if the complexity of the request so requires. In any case, the Organiser shall make notification regarding this extension and the reason for the delay. If it is found that the request is clearly unfounded or excessive, the Organiser reserves the right to request payment of a reasonable fee to its satisfaction, taking into account the administrative costs for its execution or even to refuse to follow up the request.

18. The Organiser shall take appropriate organisational and technical measures to secure the data and protect them from accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, prohibited dissemination or access and any other form of unlawful processing.

19. To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser shall not be liable for leaks of the Participants’ personal data due to their disclosure of any of their data via third-party or other internet sites.

20. The terms 13-20 concern the processing of personal data within the context of the Promo. In all other aspects, COSMOTE Payments processes personal data in accordance with its Personal Data Privacy Policy which Participants can find here.

21. The respective Terms remain valid for the Participants also after conclusion of the Promo.

22. During the Promo, the Organiser reserves the right to amend and/or revoke it, discontinue or extend the Duration, change the dates on which it will be held or any other of its Terms, etc., by informing Participants by any appropriate means (e.g. by announcement on the website, email or push notification or text message). Participation in the Promo carried out online, requires access to the internet and the payzy app by the Participants using their own technical means. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for ensuring or assisting with access to internet services or providing any facilities to any Participant.

23. The Participant acknowledges that the prize draw is final, and, thus, not subject to any contestation or legal recourse.

24. Participation in the Promo requires and implies the explicit and unreserved acceptance of all these Terms. In case that a Participant does not fulfill the criteria stated in these Terms or does not comply with them or the applicable legislation, the Organizer reserves the right at its sole discretion to exclude them from the Promo, in any stage of it.

25. These Terms are governed by Greek law without prejudice to mandatory legal provisions of the German consumer protection legislation. Any dispute as to their interpretation and/or application shall be resolved by the courts of Athens.
