Why do I see a different card number on the POS receipt? How do I find it on an Android device?

The Virtual Account Number created for your card when you add it to Google wallet is unique to your device and is used for secure transactions with Google Play.

This account number does not match the actual number of your virtual card and is used to avoid disclosing the number of your card during transactions.

To find the Virtual Account Number of your Magenta Pay debit card in the Google Wallet, follow these steps:

1. Open the ‘Wallet’ app.
2. On the ‘Cards’ tab, select the Magenta Pay card you have added.
3. You should see your card details, including the ‘Virtual Account Number’ that is unique to your device.
