Why is it necessary to provide my ID details and other identification documents?

Under the current legislation, a specific regulatory framework has been established to protect users, ensure safe transactions and protect the financial system. 

For this reason and in application of this regulatory framework, Telekom Payments in the Magenta Pay app is obligated to request from its customers data such as, but not limited to, customer identification documents, income tax clearance, legal documents and transaction documents, as well as to keep these data on file.
