The 6-digit PIN is an additional layer of security for your transactions. It is required after biometric verification and in the following cases:
- Money transfers via Chat & Pay
- Wire transfers
- Online transactions with your Magenta Pay Card
- When changing your phone number or email address
Using a PIN enhances transaction security by adding an extra verification step.
You define your 6-digit PIN after you complete your registration. If you forget it or wish to change it, you can set up a new one under "Security settings" in your Profile by selecting "Change PIN".
