Follow these steps to link your Magenta Pay Card to PayPal via its website:
Log in to PayPal and select the ‘Wallet’ option at the top of the page.
On the next page, select ‘Link a card’.
Enter your card details on the next page.
- Card number (16-digit code)
- Card type (Visa or Mastercard automatically selected)
- Expiry date (mm/yy)
- Security code (CVC or CVV)
- Billing address
You will then be asked to approve the transaction to verify your Magenta Pay Card.
After approval, a confirmation message will confirm your card is verified.
Click ‘OK‘ to return to your wallet and see the added card.
Follow these steps to link your Magenta Pay Card to PayPal via its app:
Log in to the PayPal app and select the ‘Menu’ option at the bottom of the page.
Select the "Wallet" option.
In the 'Banks and cards' section, select ‘Add new’ and then tap on 'Debit and credit cards'.
You can then scan your card or enter the requested details manually.
Finally select ‘Link card’.
You will be requested to approve the transaction to verify the card on the Magenta Pay app will appear.
Once you approve the transaction, a confirmation message will appear, stating that your card has been verified.
Once you select ‘OK‘, you will be redirected back to your wallet, where you will be able to see the card you added.
