What is change?

When you make a transaction with your Magenta Pay debit card, the amount may not be a whole number, e.g. €5.40 In this case, we call the rounding of the amount to the next whole number the “change”, i.e. in the example above, the change would be the €0.60 remaining to get to the rounded amount of €6.
All the change generated in this way from your Magenta Pay debit card transactions can be saved in your Piggys, as long as you enabled the automated deposit mode. 
If there are insufficient funds in your wallet at the time of the transaction with your Magenta Pay card, the savings will not be completed and a new attempt will be made with your next Magenta Pay card transaction.
