How can I save money to my piggy?

You can save money to your Piggy in the following ways:

 

1. With one-off money transfers from your wallet. The amount you wish to transfer must already be available in your wallet.

 

a. Go to the Piggys section and edit the name of the Piggy.

b. Choose the savings target and select ‘Continue’.

c. On the new screen, select ‘Complete’ for a one-off deposit.

d. Select the deposit amount.

 

2. With automatic money transfer, which you specify either when you create the Piggy or through each Piggy's settings. For automatic money transfers, you have the following options:

 

- Round up the change from a Magenta Pay debit card transaction (e.g. if you spent €1.80, €0.20 will be saved to your Piggy). For this transaction, you can also set a multiplier, X2 or X4, if you want. If your wallet has insufficient funds at the time of the Magenta Pay card transaction, then saving will not be completed and a new attempt will be made on your next Magenta Pay card transaction.

 

- Scheduled money transfer from your wallet on a specific day of the week or month.

If your wallet has insufficient funds at the scheduled transfer time, then the money will not be saved to the Piggy, and a new attempt will be made at the next scheduled date.
